Over the summer, our project team has continued making meaningful progress on surveys, with a strong focus on reaching diverse communities to ensure that different voices and experiences are represented.
As part of our field outreach, our team has engaged with travellers at local travel terminals serving passengers traveling to and from Karachi through cities across the interior. Through direct interviews and discussions, we have gathered valuable perspectives and firsthand experiences from travellers.
We have also completed dedicated outreach with the transgender community, with the valuable support of advocate Nisha Rao. In-person interviews and discussions provided community members with an accessible and comfortable way to share their experience and perspectives.
This inclusive approach reflects our commitment to ensuring that the survey that informs the development of the GKRP2047 captures voices that may otherwise be underrepresented, and that participation is accessible to people from different backgrounds and circumstances.
Every conversation contributes to a more inclusive and representative understanding of people’s experiences.
